Meinhardt Group
January 2023 to Present

Reporting directly to the Executive Chairman of Meinhardt Group, Dr Shahzad Nasim, I lead the marketing, communications and branding department and function of Meinhardt Group, a global planning, design, project and construction management firm, and the largest private engineering firm in Asia, with more than 6,000 staff in over 60 offices worldwide.

One of my notable accomplishments during my tenure is the successful organisation and management of Meinhardt Singapore’s 50th Anniversary celebration which was officiated by the Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Ms Low Yen Ling, and took place at the Shangri La Hotel on 13 September 2024.

My key deliverables for this milestone event include the writing, editing and production of the commemorative 200-page Meinhardt Singapore 50th Anniversary book; production of the brand new Meinhard Group corporate video; production of VIP premium gifts which are crystal cubes with laser engraving of Meinhardt City, and non-VIP corporate gifts; event management, emcee script and coordination; event invitations; thank you eDMs; media and marketing materials; social media and publicity; media relations, as well as liaison and interface with IMDA officials and Ministry of Trade and Industry.

I generated positive media coverage for the event including an online article on Lianhe Zaobao.com.

Additionally, I spearheaded the planning and organisation of Meinhardt’s hosting of a high-level delegation led by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mr John Lee, at Meinhardt Group’s HQ in Singapore on Monday, 24 July 2024. The delegation consisted of top senior Government officials from HKSAR and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO); representatives from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), as well as prominent leaders from various sectors.

Mr Lee was joined by five of the most senior members on his governing team including Mr Michael Wong Wai Lun, Deputy Financial Secretary; Mr Christopher Hui Ching Yu, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury; Mr Algernon Yau Ying Wah, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; Mr Lam Sai Hung, Secretary for Transport and Logistics, and Prof Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry.

Apart from organising the event, I wrote and produced the press release (in English and Chinese/Mandarin), onsite branding materials, social media posts, as well as Dr Nasim’s speech which was delivered during the visit.

I also pitched and generated prolific and positive media coverage in several top-tier mainstream and business/trade media publications in Hong Kong and Greater China including South China Morning PostSing Pao Daily NewsMing PaoMacau Business and Wen Weibo, etc.

I have achieved my objective of profiling and promoting Meinhardt Group as one of the world’s largest and leading global consultancy powerhouses synonymous with digital transformation and sustainability via the following deliverables:

  • Manage senior management’s (Executive Chairman and Group CEO) internal and external communications such as speeches, thank you letters, staff memos and announcements.
